My Story
Why am I fundraising?
Did you know the police in England and Wales receive 100 calls every hour relating domestic abuse? (HMIC, 2015)
With three women being killed a fortnight by a current or ex-partner, so much needs to change before women are safe. This is why I am taking on the Great Bristol 10K to raise vital funds and awareness for survivors of domestic abuse.
The life-saving support services offered at Women's Aid can be the difference between women and children staying and finding safety.
The difference your support can make:
£10 Could fund 1 life-changing conversation between a professional Women's Aid support worker and a survivor of domestic abuse.
£30 Could help run the Women's Aid online community space for 2 hours, enabling safe, peer-to-peer support for survivors.
£50 Could enable Women's Aid to have 5 life-saving conversations between survivors and specialist support workers via their Live Chat.
£90 Could help a woman struggling to access refuge space be supported by one of their specialist domestic abuse practitioners.
Women's Aid want to be there for every woman and child who needs then. I want to help end domestic abuse for good. With your help and donations we can make it happen.
